Development history of sheet metal raw materials

In prehistoric times, rough machining was carried out by using metals (such as gold and silver) that naturally existed in their natural state. Later, due to the introduction of the technology of melting materials, they were transferred to copper, bronze and the steel we often use. Of course, the history of the latter is more complicated. In fact, since ancient times, the production methods of precious metals, copper and bronze have not changed much in concept. On the other hand, the introduction of aluminum into the metal used for production belongs to the modern technological level, that is, the first half of the 1990s. Until the middle ages, steel could be produced by extremely simple processes. The process was developed mainly using furnaces, and the most basic method was to cover the holes with clay, where they alternately stacked iron ore (mainly oxides) and charcoal.
